Rose Marie Meyer

Rose Marie Meyer, 71, of Greeley, CO passed away July 29, 2011 at her residence. She was born October 13, 1939 in Fort Atkinson, WI to Irvin and Dorothy (Floerke) Streich. Rose grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado in 1969. She worked at the Greeley Medical Clinic for 29 years. She was a hardworking, simple woman who enjoyed spending time with her family – especially with her grandson, Ross. Her children will remember Rose as a loving, caring and supporting mother. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Meyer of Thornton, CO; son, Dale Meyer and wife Martha of Greeley; grandson, Ross Meyer of Greeley; and three sisters, Shirley Betchler and Loretta Mittelstadt both of Jefferson, WI, and Beverly Kraus of Hot Springs Village, AR. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and four brothers. Services include, visitation 5-7 p.m. Monday at Adamson Chapel; funeral service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3000 35th Avenue in Greeley; and inurnment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
