Angelita Garcia, 90, of Greeley, passed away on February 7, 2022 in Greeley, Colorado. She was born on August 11, 1931 in Natalia, Texas to Manuel and Francisca (Martinez) Rizo. She met and later married her husband in 1956 in Texas to Andres Nira Garcia Angelita migrated in 1959 to Greeley from Texas working on the fields. She was a devoted Catholic who loved her Lord and savior. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends. She raised talented musicians and tailored all their band customs and clothing. She traveled with her family across the country on their music bus, where often time, she was the driver. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Angelita is survived by her children, Jose (Gloria) Garcia, George (Mary) Garcia, Daniel (Brandy) Garcia, Felipe Garcia, Alex Garcia and Connie Garcia (Jim Hernandez); many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Manuel Rizo and Francis Rodriguez and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter-in-law, Teresa Ramirez Garcia; grandchildren, Andre and Austin; siblings, Juan, Jose, Refugio, Jesus, Pete, Antonio, Lupe, Maria and Refugia. Visitation will be held between 4-6 pm, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 followed by the reciting of the rosary; both at Adamson Life Celebration Home in Greeley. Christian Mass will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greeley.
