Katherine Kay Warren

Katherine Kay Warren of Greeley passed away on February 7th, 2022 in Greeley, CO. She was born January 15th, 1962 to Lawrence H. Dieken and Delores L. Alf in Colorado Springs, CO. Katherine and her family moved to Greeley, CO when she was four years old. She grew up in Greeley and graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1980. Shortly thereafter, Katherine met Lonnie R. Warren. The pair would marry on August 17th, 1982 and spend their lives together. Katherine worked in cosmetology for the first half of her career. Later, she became and worked as a CNA. Throughout her life, Katherine enjoyed many different activities. She enjoyed riding along with her husband on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. The pair would ride through the mountains together, appreciating the beautiful scenery that Colorado has to offer. She also enjoyed camping and fishing. She really admired flowers and would occasionally go out and garden. She had also become a collector of gemstones. Katherine was an animal lover; she loved her four-legged companions Penni the golden retriever and Gray-C the gray cat. Overall, she loved her family and spending time with them. Katherine is survived by her husband Lonnie R. Warren, her daughter Brittany Duncan and her husband Andrew of Severance, her son Brady Warren of LaSalle, her granddaughter Savannah, her siblings; James “Jim” Dieken and his wife Beverly, Nancy Dieken, and Lisa Rothe and her husband Michael, and several more family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence H. Dieken and Delores L. Dieken. Katherine’s Life Celebration will take place on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at 11am.
