Herminia Lavonne Marquez

On November 28th, 2022, Herminia Lavonne Marquez, a beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, grand-daughter, and best-friend was called home to God. She was 21 years old. Herminia was born in Greeley, CO, May 14, 2001, to Sophia Jessica Marquez and Gilbert Ray Garcia. She is survived by her parents; step-parents: Jorge Velazquez-Bonilla and Crystal Garcia; Siblings: Victor Marquez, Aiesha Sepulveda, Jorge Jr. Velazquez, Jose Velazquez, Teddy Garcia, Averi Garcia, Santiago Velazquez, Ivan Velazquez, Lia Velazquez, and Adrian Marquez; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by her aunt, Herminia Heredia; aunt, Frances De La Cruz; cousin, Sophia Hernandez; cousin, Mikey Cardenas; best-friends, Adrianna Lyzette Lopez and Ezekiel Able Gonzalez. She demanded to go by Minnie. Minnie graduated from Greeley West High School as a part of the 2019 class. She was best known for her quick-strong-witted humor, generous spirit, and fierce determination. Minnie loved exploring the outdoors with her dogs, Capri and Bruno; fishing, camping, and hiking were some of her favorite hobbies. She had a deep affection for music; Minnie’s musical hobbies were singing, rapping, dancing, and writing her own music. Her smile and laughter was beyond infectious, as she befriended everyone she met. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 from 3:00-6:00 pm followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 pm, at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Ave, Greeley, CO 80634.
