Tomas Lopez Patino

Tomas Lopez Patino, 84, of Greeley passed away on June 23, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born in El Salvador on December 29, 1938 to Cornelio Cipriano Lopez Calzadia and Francisca Patiño. He worked as a professional gardener at a laboratory in El Salvador, maintaining their gardens, before moving to the United States. He located to California in 1982 and moved to Greeley, CO in 1995 where he went to work for Monfort Packing plant for 15 years before retiring. In 1970, he married Maria Cristina Garcia Gomez in El Salvador. She passed away January 14, 1987. Tomas enjoying being around people, listening to Spanish country music and dancing. He always had a smile on his face and willing to help others. Survivors include his children; Carlos Patiño, Anna Patiño, and Norma Buseman, seven grandchildren, two brothers; Nicolas and Alejandro, one sister; Martha, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sisters; Adele and Rosa and one brother, Pedro. Tomas’ family will host a Celebration of Life at the Buseman home on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. Friends may leave condolences at AdamsonCares.com.
