Denny Watson, 77, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away on April 10, 2019 at the Fort Collins Health Care Center. Denny was born March 9, 1942 in Grand Junction, Colorado. His parents, Hollis and Tiny Vore Watson, raised him in Newcastle, WY where he attended school until his senior year in 1959. He moved with his family to Corona, California.  He attended night school and graduated high school in 1960. He was a Commander in the Wyoming Civil Air Patrol in Newcastle. He married Linda Howard in June of 1960. To this union three daughters were born, Julie, Susan and Kim.  In 1976 he married Janice Glenn, with this union he gained a son Rick and daughter Vicki. Denny owned and operated several garages and car dealerships and other business ventures in Wyoming, California and Colorado. He was an expert mechanic. He was the Worshipful Master of St. Vrain #23 Masonic Lodge AF & AM in Longmont, Colorado. He enjoyed hunting, traveling and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife Janice of Fort Collins, daughters Susan Watson, and Vicki (Mike) Mesa of Fort Collins, daughters Julie and Kim and son Rick Glenn (Marie) of Wellington, Colorado, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also surviving him are sisters, Joyce (Gary) Dyer-Birkholz, Littleton, Colorado and Gloria (Ray) Riehemann of Upton, and Joann Morgan, Longmont, Colorado. and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.  Graveside services will be held at a later date in Newcastle. Condolences may be sent to Gloria Riehemann, Box 31, Upton, WY. 82730.  Because of Denny’s love for dogs, in lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Weston County Humane Society, Box 744, Newcastle, WY 82701.
