Douglas "Doug" Leroy Coulter

Douglas L Coulter, lifelong resident of Colorado, died in his home on February 20, 2020.  Doug was born in Denver, Colorado on July 20, 1962. Douglas graduated from Loveland High school in 1980. He was an active member of the United States Navy from 1981 to 1987 where he was a Master Helmsman. Doug was a free spirited and hard worker who enjoyed his job and the individuals he worked with. He started at what is now B.W. Integrated on his thirtieth birthday in 1992 where he worked until his passing. He enjoyed skiing, riding his motorcycle, and driving his old classic car. Doug was also a talented unicycle rider and appreciate the outdoors and music. He was a kind and giving man. He is very loved and will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Douglas is survived by his father Leroy Coulter of Loveland, Colorado, daughters Chelsea Slutts (Derrick) of Muscatine, Iowa, Jade Coulter of Phoenix, Arizona, and one grandson Matthew Slutts. Sister Margaret Kamradt (Larry) of Kansas City, Missouri and brother Lyle Coulter (Theresa) of Kansas City, Missouri and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Coulter. Funeral services will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Loveland at 10:30am on Friday, February 28, 2020. Luncheon to follow after service. Cremation will be completed following services. Inurnment will take place at Loveland Burial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to King of Glory Lutheran Church.
