Elenor L. Jorgensen of Loveland, Colorado was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 18, 2019.  She was born on December 26, 1934 at home in Westover, South Dakota to William and Mable (Jones) Mannhalter.  Elenor attended a one room country school and went to high school in Murdo, SD where she graduated in 1952. After graduation Elenor met the love of her life Bud, and they were married December 27, 1953 in Pierre, SD.  They built their home in Murdo, SD and were blessed with 3 daughters.  August of 1961 they moved the family to Gettysburg, SD where Elenor stayed busy raising their 3 young daughters and working for the local Dentist.  In November 1968 the family moved to Rapid City, SD, where she worked as the office manager/bookkeeper for Servall Towel and Linen Supply.  After their girls graduated high school and relocated to Colorado, Elenor and Bud moved to Aurora, CO in 1979 to be closer to their girls and grandchildren.  Elenor worked in accounting at United Cable/United Artist, and retired in January, 1992.  October of 1992 Elenor and Bud moved to Loveland, CO to enjoy their retirement years in a smaller community.  She and Bud enjoyed traveling and they visited many places around the country.  Her favorites were the beaches of Oahu, Hawaii and the Carolinas.  They were members at Immanuel Lutheran church and later became members of Mt Olive Lutheran Church.  Elenor was always involved in many activates at her churches, she was a devoted Christian who had a great loving heart for the Lord.  Elenor had a deep love for her family and she cherished spending time with them and especially loved celebrating the holidays with them.  She had many hobbies including scrapbooking, porcelain dolls, collecting Barbie’s and quilting.     Elenor is survived by her daughters Sandra Martin (Rich), Castle Rock, CO, LuAnn Lacey, Firestone, CO and Kathy Hoyland (Ken), La Salle, CO; 6 grandchildren Angie Windholz (Mark), April Hoyland (Ruben Caro), Jennafer Hoyland (Kenton Ells), Joshua Lacey (Mandy), Scott Martin (Jessica) and Victoria Martin; 10 great- grandchildren Zayne Hoyland, Anthony Lacey, Makayla Windholz, Zoie Hoyland, Emma Lacey, Ruben Caro III, Alyssa Windholz, Haydin Ells, Makenna Windholz and Mason Ells; her sister Janice Trygstad of Oklahoma City, OK and sister-in-law Karla Mannhalter of Murdo, SD; many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew (Bud), her parents William and Mable, her brothers Kenny, Otto, Billy, Donnie and her sister Laverne Oller. Memorial service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Loveland, CO on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 2:30 pm with reception following. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Pathways Hospice, 305 Carpenter Rd, Ft. Collins, CO 80525.
