Jeffrey Bruce Gelman

Jeffrey Bruce Gelman, 73, of Loveland, CO, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 under hospice care.  Jeff was born on June 15, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to Jules and Edith Gelman.  He was cared for tenderly by big sister Elaine.  Jeff was a graduate of Northeast High School and Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science. Jeff married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Puchowitz, with whom he had daughter Jamie and son Marc. The two were on the eve of their 52nd anniversary at the time of Jeff’s death.   A lifelong salesman, Jeff’s true passion was his family.  Indeed, he and Barbara moved from Philadelphia to Loveland, CO in 2005 for the sole purpose of spending more time with Jamie’s children, Chase, Logan, Brady and Bree.  He nevertheless did not leave behind his passion for cheesesteaks and the Eagles. With the birth of Marc’s two sons with wife Dara, Eli and Brody, Jeff was happiest and most content while doting upon all of his beloved grandchildren. Jeff leaves behind with everlasting love Barbara, Jamie, Marc, Dara, Elaine, Chase, Logan, Brady, Bree, Eli and Brody. Donation’s in Jeff’s memory may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
