Peggy Joyce Kimmel, 86, of Loveland, CO, died March 10, 2019 at North Shore Health and Rehab Facility in Loveland. She was born on August 1, 1932 in Harlan, Kentucky to James and Lottie Summers. Peggy worked in manufacturing and retail for many years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, hiking, knitting, crochet and water aerobics. On October 30, 1962 she married J.T. Kimmel in Dayton, Ohio. J.T. passed away in July of 1992. Peggy is survived by her sons Charles Shoopman (Nancy) and David Kimmel (Arpana); daughters Noreen Herring and Karla Allingham (Don); brothers Charles Summers of Swansea, IL, Ronnie Summers of Spark, NV, and John Summers (Rosemary) of Belleville, IL; sisters Lovell Gross of Omaha, IL, Gail Dykes of Enon, OH and Pam Schaefer of Springfield, OH; grandchildren Chanda Perkins, Jasson Dunaway, Eric Shoopman, Kevin Shoopman, Wesley Allingham, Ariana Kimmel and Alexa Kimmel; as well as 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents James Summers and Lottie Summers, sisters Beulah Young, Marjorie Presley and Karleen Cornet, brother James "Bud” Summers and her son James Shoopman. Funeral services will be held in New Carlisle, Ohio on March 16, 2019 at 1:00pm at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel. See Obituary for Details
