Shirley Delores Haynes went into the loving arms of her Savior on March 4, 2023. Shirley was born on January 24, 1935 in Washington Indiana. Throughout her life, she lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Vancouver, Washington before moving to Portland, Oregon in 1991. She attended Albuquerque High School and the University of New Mexico. Maiden name was Freeman. Shirley was a Licensed Tax Consultant, working primarily in accounting and bookkeeping positions. She also attended Gateway Baptist Church. In younger years she enjoyed riding and training horses, ice skating, swimming and hiking. In later years, she enjoyed poetry, photography, genealogy research, travel and spending time with her family. Survivors include sons Joseph Haynes Jr (and wife Emily) of King City and Daniel Haynes of Vancouver and daughter Valerie Woods (and husband Scott) of McMinnville. Six Grandchildren: Trevor, Meghan, Michelle, Kelsi, Jeci and Kyle and four Great Grandchildren: Hannah, Nathaniel, Faith and Cameron
