Theresa Jean Zimmerman

Theresa "Terry” Jean Zimmerman, age 69, passed away on September 3, 2018 after a short battle with lung cancer. Terry was born April 27, 1949 to Vincent and Rosalie DiBartolo in Englewood, New Jersey. She was the youngest child, her siblings included Caroline, Fred and Rosalie. Terry met the love of her life Rusty Zimmerman at a dance for serviceman in 1969, all it took was for him to buy her a burger! He courted her till they married November 3, 1970. They moved to Farmington, NM just after their daughter Lisa was born in June, 1971. This was a huge adjustment for Terry being away from her family but before they knew it, the DiBartolo family started making the journey west. They welcomed a son, Mike, in June, 1974. Now that all the family had moved to New Mexico Rusty decided to move his family to Craig, CO as he wanted to raise his family in a small mountainous town. Here they loved camping, boating, hunting and just spending time together. As time went on, they moved to Bullhead City, AZ where they retired and enjoyed the pool, casinos and their friends. Terry is survived by her children Lisa and Mike; daughter-in-law Stephanie; and 7 grandchildren Brody, Ryan, Alyssa, Kyle, Tanner, Tucker, and Jack. Terry is preceded in death by her parents, siblings and husband. Graveside service will be on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Farmington, NM.
