Steven Charles Morgan

Steven Charles Morgan of Berthoud Colorado passed in his home, surrounded by the love of his family on February 7, 2021 after a long battle with health issues. Steve was born August 23, 1955 in San Jose California to Cecil and Dora Morgan. He was proceeded in death by his father and is survived by his mother Dora and two siblings; Ken Morgan and Gerry Morgan-Stom (Scott). He is remembered by his loving wife of 26 years, Lin Morgan; his 6 children Emily (Barry) Blair; Ambar Reddekopp (Marina Lewallen); Jarad (Ashley) Reddekopp; Deahna Morgan; Janna (Devon) Rightmire; Kayla (Ike) Alldredge and 13 beautiful grandchildren. Steve graduated in 1973 from Leigh High in San Jose California and worked as an auto mechanic for his Dad before purchasing the shop, Auto Tech. In 1991 Steve moved to Colorado where he worked as an independent software developer for auto shops. He later became a financial advisor and started his own firm "The Journey Financial Group”. Steve was an active and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. One of his most beloved callings was working with the young men of his ward. Steve had a passion for automobiles, building his first car in his early teens and filling every space with his collection of matchbox cars. He loved woodworking, adventures, traveling, his job and most of all his family. He will be missed for his funny anecdotes, generosity and the joy he brought to everyone in his presence. Services will be held Saturday February 13, 2021 beginning at 10:00am proceeding a viewing at 9:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Berthoud, Colorado. Viewing will be held Friday February 12, 2021 from 5-7pm at the Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland Colorado.
