Bobby "Butch" Drew Yoakum

Bobby Drew Yoakum “Butch” of Drake, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2022. Bobby was born in Greeley, Colorado on March 30, 1949 to Howard and Alpha Yoakum. Bobby was raised in Loveland and graduated from Loveland High School in 1968. Shortly after graduation he was drafted into the Navy and served 4 years, including 1 tour in Vietnam. Upon his return he met and married Kathleen Hull in 1974. They remained married until her passing in 2012. Bob enjoyed spending his time outdoors, fishing and flying his RC airplanes. He loved all animals and building pretty much anything. He loved the mountains and loved the life he had on the hill. Bob is survived by his son Matthew Yoakum of Loveland, and his three granddaughters Chloe, MaKynzee and Kylee Yoakum. Bob is preceded in death by his wife Kathy Yoakum and his son Daniel Yoakum.
