Barbara Lee Waddell McIvor Born on June 6, 1930 to Anita & Roy Waddell, in Portland, OR. Barbara moved at an early age to Yakima, WA, where she grew up and graduated from high school. Barbara has four children and was very active in her early adult life with Cub Scouts, Little League Baseball and a variety of other activities involving her sons. She was an extraordinarily talented seamstress, who made everything from Barbie clothes for her nieces to clothing and costumes for her children and grandchildren. She spent many years as a volunteer for the Beaverton High School drama department, coordinating costume design for one of the best drama departments in the state for two decades. She was also an avid reader and loved rooting for the Portland Trail Blazers. Barbara passed away at home June 4, 2015, after a brief illness. She is survived by brother, Ed Waddell of Seattle, WA; sons Jeffrey of Lake Carmel, NY; Douglas of San Jose, CA; Daniel of Portland, OR; and Ryan of Hillsboro, OR. Other survivors include three grand-children, Stefanie, Justin and Alexis. Service was held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, OR Sunday June 7. Service Information
