Matthew Wesley Boyes

Matthew Wesley Boyes, born in Binghamton, NY on September 28th, 1988, passed away on Friday, February 17th. Matt is a beloved son, brother, and uncle who is survived by his parents, Wes and Karen Boyes and Mark and Sandy Brest, his sisters Amanda (Remington) Chapman, Mary Hinton, and Jessica (Ryan) Kimray, his nieces Evelyn and Emilia Kimray, his nephews Felix and Henry Chapman and Crispin Hinton-Callahan and many extended family members and friends. Matt will be greatly missed. Matt was generous with his talents and time, always ready to help in any way he could. He had a gift for seeing the things in people that make them shine and helping to bring that to the forefront. He would make you feel that you were more just by being around him. Matt had an amazing sense of humor and an inside joke with just about everyone he knew. Many times, just one or two words could send you both into a fit of giggles that would leave you breathless from laughing so hard. Matt was amazingly compassionate, endlessly willing to listen to any little thing that could be bothering you, sometimes just so you could talk it out but ready with advice if you needed it. He was a proud dog dad, a photographer, hibachi chef, Kung Fu student & nerd at heart with a witty, selfless and ever-loving soul. A gathering will be held at Viegut Funeral Home 1616 North Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO on Friday, February 24th from 4-7pm. The funeral will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church 801 Cleveland Ave, Loveland, CO on Saturday, February 25th at 11am.
