Robert "Bob" Frank Finch
June 22nd, 1930 - May 5th, 2023
Bob left us on May 5, 2023, to be with the Lord. He was 92 years young. Bob was born in Denver, NY, on June 22, 1930 to Jesse and Pauline Finch. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann Peck in 1952. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last year. After marrying, Bob and Mary ran a dairy farm with Bob’s parents in Delaware County in NY. When the dairy industry failed, they had to sell the farm. Bob moved his family to the big city of Oneonta, NY, where he found work in the route delivery business. Bob and Mary raised 3 children in Oneonta. When the kids were gone, they decided to move to Colorado, where some of the family had already moved. Bob purchased a janitorial service, which he and Mary ran for several years. After retiring, Bob and Mary liked to travel. They had the time of their lives when their children gave them a trip to Hawaii on their 50th anniversary. Bob’s main focus in life was always his children and extended family. He loved to take off to a lake, stream or park for a picnic on Sunday afternoons. Many a family gathering was spent playing a rousing game of volleyball or Pit. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary, of Loveland, his daughter, Lois Kerin and husband Ed, his son Wayne Finch, and wife, Jane, and his son, Mark Finch and wife Leslye. Bob is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Glenn Finch and his sister, Alberta Slauson.
