Lilly Rozel Quirk (79) of Arvada, Colorado, passed after battling Pancreatic Cancer on August 13, 2022, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was born October 5, 1942, in Stafford, Kansas, to Mollie and Willie Walter (Jay) Lovell. She was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Elaine Kay Libby, of Great Bend, Kansas. And Joann Evelyn Tallman of San Jose, California. Lilly attended Pratt Junior College, Pratt, Kansas, and University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado. She worked at The First National Bank in Golden (First Interstate Bank of Golden) as Senior Vice President, Commercial and Real Estate Loans. During her years in Golden, she participated in many local Golden activities such as Octoberfest, Buffalo Bill Days and was President of The Golden Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of several clubs: Business & Professional Women's Club of Golden and was a charter member of Leadership Golden. She was very active in the Catholic Church. While she lived in the Golden area, she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for over thirty years. While she lived in the Arvada area, she was a member of St Joan of Arc Catholic Church also for over thirty years. In 1989 Lilly and husband, Don Quirk, opened Convenience Plus, a convenience store with Texaco gasoline and later a Blimpie Sub shop in Wheat Ridge, Co. They were very involved in the surrounding community and enjoyed the personal contact with the great customers. Upon retiring, Don and Lilly traveled all over this great USA in their motorhome with their dog, Cody and later Toby. This was a wonderful time of their lives in these "Golden Years". Don and Lilly had many dogs over the years and they loved them dearly: Charlie, Amy, Rusty, Cody, Toby and Mitzi. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, Don Quirk, and daughter: Debbie (Keith) Blake of Golden, Colorado, two sons: Larry Quirk (Tammy), Aurora, Colorado, and Patrick Quirk (Dawn), Lakewood, Colorado, and seven grandchildren: Amber Bredsnajder and Christopher Blake (Debbie), Jeremy and Andree Quirk (Pat), Derek, Dylan, and Kaitlyn Quirk (Larry), and seven great grandchildren. Services: St Joan of Arc Catholic Church 12735 W 58th Ave, Arvada, Co 80002, Tuesday August 30, 2022 – 10:30 am. Contributions to: St Joan of Arc Catholic Church or Collier Hospice – Wheat Ridge, Co
