Helen Louise Nieman

Helen Louise Nieman, 83 of Golden, Co died peacefully May 17, 2023 in Arvada Co. She was born January 9, 1940 in Grinnell, KS to J.E. and Gertrude (Schwarz) Moore. Helen was married to her lifelong love Gerald Nieman on April 6, 1959-they just celebrated their 64th anniversary. Helen and Jerry had 6 children. Helen was a homemaker and did in home daycare. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church and did volunteering there. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and others. She also liked to garden. Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren especially Mira. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, brother John, sisters Gretchen Anderson, Carol Albers and Priscilla Moore. She is survived by her husband, Jerry, children Alan, Paula (Dale) Franson, Andrea (Rod) Johnson, Patrick (Kimberly), Amy (Dallas) Gavito and Jerry; sisters Jeanne Mann and Iris (Bob) Peterson; brothers Joe, Pat and Mike Moore; six grandchildren, Jacob Franson, Renae Hall, Dane Nieman, Ashley Nieman, Donovan Gavito and Jojo Nieman; one great granddaughter Mira Hall. She was a dear mom and deeply loved by all.
