David Conklin

David "Dave" Robert Conklin, 69 was born November 23rd, 1953 in District of Columbia and passed away at Lutheran Hospice on March 15, 2023. He struggled with Alzheimer's disease since 2015. David was proceeded in death by his father Robert Frances Conklin, and his mother Esther Marjorie Conklin. David was married to Pamela Jean Conklin on August 10, 1985. David left behind his sister Joy Thompson, brother-in-law Jim Thompson, nieces Sharon, Karen and Pam who live in Maryland. Dave’s children are Kimberly Jean Boehmer, Melissa Joy Quinn, Aaron David Conklin. Dave’s grandchildren are Devon Scott Boehmer, Jacob Boehmer and Amelia Joy Quinn. Dave worked as a maintenance engineer at Lutheran Hospital for 37 years. He loved his job. Dave was a family man, he loved to travel, camping, and helping others with projects. Dave sang in the Heritage singers at Applewood Baptist, visiting nursing homes. He also sang solos in two of Grace Church of Arvada Easter cantatas. The Helps ministry at Applewood was up his alley. Dave spent his free time doing woodworking, welding, and designed easier ways to get things done. He remodeled the house and fixed our cars when he could. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 5th at 10:30 a.m. at Applewood Baptist Church, 11200 W. 32nd Ave, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, lunch will follow the service.
