Diana "Vonnie" Yvonne Blevins

Diana Yvonne Blevins was born in Kingsport Tennessee on August 12, 1940. She departed this earthly life on August 13th, 2023. She spent her early years in the rural south and would often talk about having to get water from the creek and having to be very careful of the cotton mouths. Diana was married to the love her life, Richard Godinez for 28 years. They had four children. She was a lover of life!! She loved her bingo, peach pie and lots of different music. She often sat with daughter Tina, enjoyed a Salem and rocked out to some blasting tunes. When visiting her, you knew how much she loved cardinals and angels. She enjoyed her time with dear friends reading the bible, watching Golden Girls, or in prayer. Her deep faith was noteworthy and carried her through any and all difficulties. She is proceeded in death by her two sons, Chadrick and Angelo Godinez. She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Godinez and Tina Wilson, son-in law Jeff Wilson, brothers Malcolm and Richard Blevins, daughter in law, Tanya Godinez, ex-husband Richard Godinez. Diana also leaves behine grand pups Penny and Mila girls. She is also survived by host of dear friends as well. Her sweet and gentle light will continue to shine forever in our hearts.
