Beverly, 81, a resident of the Hillsboro community died Saturday, February 17, 2018 after a long illness. A viewing will be held at Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, 3809 SE Tualatin Valley Highway, Hillsboro, OR on Thursday, February 22nd between 11 am and 1 pm in the Rose Room. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her life at the home of Rick and Rosemary Trudeau at 236 NE 43rd Ave, Hillsboro, OR, at 1 pm February 22nd. Beverly was born on June 9th, 1936 in St Paul OR. She and her twin sister are the middle children, she has an older sister and brother and a younger brother. She is the daughter of Louis Chester LaBonte and Laura Reynolds Vanaudenhagen. She was united in marriage to Darrel Freeman on September 6, 1952. Following their marriage, they made their home in Forest Grove, Beaverton and settling in Hillsboro for the last 40 years. During these years they had 4 children. Beverly worked at GAF and then at Astro Tool as a shipping Clerk then retiring in 1999 at the age of 62. She enjoyed Crossword Puzzles, growing tomatoes, fishing, traveling and beachcombing searching for sand dollars and agates. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Darrel. She is survived by her four children and spouses: Sheila and Craig Withers of Stayton, OR. Keith and Kathy Freeman of Springdale, AR, Kevin and Marla Freeman of Wilsonville, OR, and Jerry Freeman of Cornelius, OR. Also her siblings Stanley LaBonte, Helen Davis, Barbara Kemper, and Louie LaBonte. Eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, with special recognition to niece, Rosemary Kemper Trudeau. We, her family, honor her as a daughter, wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will be missed.
