Milton Gaddis Obituary Bud Gaddis Bud Gaddis, age 89, of Decatur, IL, passed away on February 7, 2024, in Arvada, CO. He was born on January 15, 1935. Bud, a proud Navy veteran who served as GM2 from 1953 to 1961, dedicated 35 years of his life to General Motors. Milton, lovingly known as Bud, was a man of humility and happiness. He cherished his family, friends, and above all, his wife Jenne, with whom he recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Bud enjoyed fishing, gambling on slot machines, playing horseshoes, tinkering in his wood shop, and listening to music. Bud is survived by his beloved wife Jenne and children: Glenn, Lori (Mark) Papke, Alison (Jeff) Young, Rodney (Betsy VanDyke), Carrie Huffman, Carreen (Jim Allen), and Brett (Tracy Greene), 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tracy Gaddis, sister Joyce Charlene Lavengood, nephew Mark Lavengood, niece Diane Nicoletti, father George R Gaddis, and mother Marcella E Gaddis. A Memorial Service in honor of Bud will be held at Aspen Mortuary in Arvada, CO, on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Legion Post 161 at 6230 W 60th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003. Aspen Mortuary in Arvada, CO, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
