Marjorie Leila Seal Wiles

Marjorie Leila Seal Wiles, 94, of Kingsport, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, June 14, 2024. She was deeply loved by all who were blessed to know her.  She was born on April 21, 1930, in Hawkins County Tennessee, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald H. Wiles. 

Marjorie was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church in Kingsport and married to Don for 66 years before his passing in 2017. She graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1948. She lived a good long life with us, and her gentle, unconditional love will be passed on by her family for generations to come. 

Those left in her memory are her two sons, Scott R. Wiles and Gregory L. Wiles; grandkids, Andrew and Ashton Wiles.  Others who share in her love and memory are her sister, Brenda Seal Kemp and husband Brantley; sister-in-law, Judy Seal; along with many nieces, nephews, and their children.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 1 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Temple Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Scott Young officiating. A graveside service will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers. 

The family would like to thank those who cared for our mother during her last days.
