A celebration of his life will be had at a later date that has yet to be determined Mr. Briggs was born October 28, 1937 in Mars Hill, NC to the late Fred and Ida Briggs. He was a self-employed Certified Public Accountant but a "father above all else". He loved fishing and spending time with his family and dogs, very often combining the two. He also loved beach music and was an accomplished shagger. Don was a true servant of Christ that always led by example and was a giver all of his life.
