James Jeffrey Baker

James Jeffrey "Jeff" Baker Jeff died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville, NC. He was born March 14, 1962, son to the late Rowland Lloyd Baker and Dorothy Lindley Baker. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Rowland Lloyd Baker, Jr. "Ronnie" and Jack Lindley Baker, and sisters, Susan Carol Baker and Dorothy Baker Morris. Jeff attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and had many friends on the streets of Charlotte as that was his home for the past 20 plus years. He was a free spirit who was loved deeply by his family. He is survived by his sister, Jo Ann B. Hall (Dwayne) and brothers, Charles W. Baker (Charlie) and John L. Baker (Johnny). He is also survived by a niece, Kelly Baker Pruitt, Murrells Inlet, SC and a nephew, Damon R. Morris. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at University Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster and Levine & Dickson Hospice House Huntersville, NC. for all the care and compassion given to Jeff during his illness.
