John R. Bapple

ONLINE OBIT John R Bapple joined his wife Carmen in eternal rest Saturday, 2 July. John was born in San Bernardino, California on 5 November 1955 to Barbara Ann (Lilley) and James W Bapple. John graduated high school in Riverside, California and attended the University of California, Riverside, before moving to Colorado. It was here he met his life†™s partner, Carmen Yelsma. Together John and Carmen brought nine children into the world, all of whom survive him: Mariah Valarinos and Jim of Denver; Naomi Main and Daniel with their children Ester, Luke, Anna and Chloe of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; Dan, Hannah, Matthew, Stephen, Sharon and Joshua Bapple, all of Denver; and David Bapple, of Phoenix, Arizona. John also leaves his father, James W Bapple and his wife Marie, of Pittsfield, New Hampshire, and his two older brothers, Jay Bapple and his wife Dorothy of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Thomas Bapple and his wife Desiree of Raleigh, North Carolina. In addition to his wife Carmen, John was also pre-deceased by his mother, Barbara Ann Guymon. John worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 33 years, most recently serving at the North Pecos Station as a clerk. He was a proud member of the local Letter Carriers Union. A private viewing was held on Tuesday, 12 July. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, 16 July at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Chapel in Lakewood, beginning at 10:30 am.
