Sheri Thieman Gersin

Sheri Thieman Gersin, 42, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center-Main. She was born May 18, 1973 in Cincinnati, OH, a daughter of James Richard Thieman and Carol Younghans Thieman of Cincinnati. Sheri was a devoted wife, a loving mother and special friend to many. She lived life for the day, she cherished each moment and always created lasting memories. Sheri had a contagious laugh and a beautiful smile. Sheri's optimism and passion will live on through those she inspired. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Keith S. Gersin; two sons, Henry and Sam Gersin; brother, Mark Thieman (Susan), of Covington, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Road, Charlotte by The Reverend Frank O"Rourke, Celebrant and Deacon Paul Volkerson assisting. The family will greet friends prior to the Mass from 9:00-9:45 A.M. in the church narthex. Interment will follow the Mass in Sharon Memorial Park.
