George William Geddes

George William Geddes, age 73, of Monroe, NC, passed away at Carolina Medical Center, Pineville, on April 20, 2016. George was born on February 3, 1943 to the late George and Mary Geddes, in New York, NY. On February 8, 1964, he married Patricia Ann Winkelman (deceased). He is survived by two children, Michael Geddes, and Tracy Isaman, and six grandchildren: Kody and Kyle Weiand, Mose and Ellis Geddes, "EJ" Isaman, and Christopher Price. Great grandchildren are Austin Parker, Easton and Anderson Isaman. He was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army, George served in Vietnam and multiple tours in Korea. A big man with a big heart and gentle soul, George will be missed, yet will live on in our hearts and minds forever. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 3:00pm at Mineral Springs United Methodist Church, 5915 Old Monroe Road, Monroe, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until time of service. Pastor Thomas Mabry will be officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Military honors will be performed by the US Army Honor Guard. Tribute Cremation Society is serving the Geddes family.
