Louise Ford Reed
July 18th, 1959 - April 13th, 2022
Miss Louise F. Reed ("Wezzy") was born July 18, 1959 with her identical twin sister Bonnie F. Fields in Gaston County, North Carolina. She departed for Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 when she was in Novant Health Hospital of Huntersville. She is the daughter of the late Carolyn E. Dunn and Charlie Ford. She attended Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport Connecticut and received her Diploma in Trumbull, Connecticut. She lived in Connecticut for many years, then moved to Charlotte North Carolina where she worked with Presbyterian Hospital with the Medical Records Department. She has many friends and many family members in Connecticut and North Carolina whom loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father Charlie Ford, her step father Sylvester L. Dunn, her mother Carolyn E. Dunn, her older sister Carolyn "Theresa" Hamrick, her nephew Virgil L. Wilson-Bey III, aunts; Charles Lee E. Foxx, Mary Lawrence, and Shelia Roseman; brother-in-law Thomas Walls, and nephews Kevin Ford, Tamarius Powell, and Vincent Bradley. She lives in the living memories of her children Bonkiesha and Jamaal (Brittany) Reed. Her sisters; Pauline Walls and Bonnie F. Fields. Her grandchildren: Jaleel Hanson, Kenyatta Hanson, Alani Reed, Jamin Reed, Brielle Reed. Her great grandchild Shaqueal "E-J" Anderson. Aunt Elizabeth James; Nieces and nephews; Eddie Speed, Isaiah Speed, Wanisha (Johnnie) Bryant, Kimshon Bennett, Virgil L. Wilson-Bey IV, Harvey Kindell Jr., Harvey "Trey" Kendall III, Shyeeka Kendall, Verlena Barringer, Paula Walls, Thomas-Ann Walls, Jamie Walls, Jariaus Wall, Jimmy "JJ" James Jr., Betty James, Carol "Cricket" Bradley, Joel Moore Jr., Elizabeth "Lizz" Bradley, as well as a host of great nieces, nephews, and many friends. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTIn these trying times, wanted to give out special thanks to Brittany Reed & Tonay Carter for helping care for Louise. Your teachings of medication and loving care was very dear to her, being by her side in the hospital and at home. Also, wanted to thank everyone who showed her love in the hospital as well thanks as well. It really meant a lot to her since she didnt like being there all alone.
