Linda Long Anderson

Linda (Linn) Long Anderson passed away peacefully on April 6, 2021, in Charlotte, NC, at the age of 69. She was predeceased by her parents, C. G. and Mary Long, and her former husband, Paul Anderson. She is survived by one child, Lisa Anderson and her fianc Jay Hoover, and two grandchildren, Bailey Frair and Makenzie Belcher. They were the light of her life. She was very involved in their lives and activities. Also surviving are her siblings, Grady Long and wife Betty, and Brenda Caskey and husband Jerry. She graduated from West Mecklenburg High School and UNC-Charlotte. After a long career, she retired from the State of North Carolina Employment Security Commission. One of the joys of her life was watching ACC basketball games on TV while wearing Carolina blue. Her two favorite teams were the UNC Tarheels and whoever was playing Duke. Linda was active in The Pointe Church where she enjoyed caring for babies in the nursery. She is now at peace with her Lord and Savior. She will be missed by her many relatives and loved ones.
