Ann Osborne Hoover
April 3rd, 1930 - March 1st, 2019
Elizabeth (Ann) Osborne Hoover, 88, peacefully went to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, March 1, 2019 with family members by her side. Mrs. Hoover was born April 3, 1930 in Shelby, NC, daughter of the late Thomas Hall Osborne and Faye Elmore Osborne. Mrs. Hoover was a homemaker most of her life. She demonstrated incredible faith in her Lord and Savior in everything she did throughout her life. A private graveside service in celebration of her life is scheduled at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Karl Moyers officiating. Mrs. Hoover was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Dr. Dan C. Hoover, who passed in February of 2017. She is survived by 4 children and 6 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity Ann supported her entire adult life, Operation Smile, 3641 Faculty Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
