Toni Leigh Mahaffey Wilson, 39, of Charlotte, NC, died on August 27, 2022, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center after a short illness. She was born on September 3, 1982, in Bluefield, WV to Pamela Chewning Goode and the late Vernon K. Mahaffey. Survivors include her dear friend, Jimmy Canipe, mother, Pamela Chewning Goode, Stepfather, Steven W. Goode, son, Bradley C. Wilson, sisters, Lisa Mahaffey, Pamela Biletnikoff (Brian), nephews and niece, Andrew, Alex (Melissa), Aidan, Forrest, Ava. Toni will be remembered for her sense of humor, big personality, and love of the beach. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Mahaffey, and grandparents J.P. and Bea Mahaffey, Barbara Craft, and Carlisle Chewning. A private family memorial will be held in her honor.
