Jill Deneene Hall

Jill Deneene Hall, 46, passed away Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 after a quiet and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Elmer, New Jersey on August 31, 1968 and spent her childhood in Woodstown, New Jersey. After graduating from Woodstown High School she attended Elon College and attained a Bachelor of Arts in English. Her love of learning was furthered by a Masters degree in English & Linguistics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). Later she pursued her true passion of teaching by attaining an additional degree in Early Education from UNCC. Four plus years of chemotherapy and radiation did not slow Jill, until this past year from teaching at Albemarle Road Elementary School where she was able to make a difference for the children and staff. Her commitment to education extended to Sardis Presbyterian Church and Amity Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Aric Beals and children Andrew Beals (13) and Sarah Beals (11); Parents, John F. Hall II and Brenda H. Hall and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jill was preceded in death by her grandparents, Quinton & Mildred Hackett and John & Emma Hall. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday April 8th from 6 " 8 PM at J.B. Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 Sharon Amity Road. A funeral will occur on Thursday April 9th at 11:00 AM at Sardis Presbyterian Church with reception following service.
