Cynthia Godfrey Lambert, 67, of Matthews, NC died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville. She was born January 10, 1947 in Charlotte, NC a daughter of the late Norris Godfrey and Doris Hunter Godfrey Fowler. Ms. Lambert was a former employee of the Nalle Clinic and a Customer Service Representative with Piedmont Natural Gas Company. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 11:00A.M. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Faith United Methodist Church, 3708 Faith Church Road, Indian Trail, NC with The Reverend Lonnie Pittman officiating. Cynthia is survived by 2 sisters, Pam Fowler and Kim Fowler and a brother, Rusty Fowler; best friend , Melodie Pugh and Godchildren, Carey, Seth, and Benjamin Pugh.
