Gladys Lucille Weaver Ferguson

Mrs. Ferguson, 78, of High Point, NC died Tuesday April 5, 2016, in High Point. She was born August 22, 1937 in Pineville, NC daughter of the late Clifton Issac Weaver and Ruth Yost Weaver. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother she retired from Bank of America after 32 years of service. She lived the last two years at the Pennybyrn at Maryfield Nursing Home where she was a joy to all who lived and worked there and will be missed by all who loved her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Brewton. She is survived by her children, Linda Ann Ferguson Clark (Roger), John Kenneth Ferguson, Robbin Jean Ferguson Wheatley (Steve) and Helen Dawn Ferguson Tench (Chad). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Her family will receive friends Saturday, April 9, 2016, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at J.B. Tallent Funeral Service, with a funeral service to follow at Noon. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
