Franklin Truman Hager

Franklin Truman Hager, 75, of Troutman, NC, passed away peacefully at Gordon Hospice House on July 19, 2020. A native of Mooresville, NC, with outstanding strength, he was a carpenter, a home builder, and a log home pioneer. He also had an ability to repair machinery. He enjoyed being a sportsman of fishing, hunting, and had interest in firearms and ham radios. He faithfully fulfilled his duty to serve our country in the army in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a loving husband to his wife, Linda Hager of 33 years, a loving father to his children Leeanna and Bradley Hager, and a loving grandfather to two grandchildren Savannah and Logan Owens. Mr. Hager is survived by his brother, Sidney and (Hallie) Hager of Mooresville, NC, brother, Thilbert and (Barbara) Hager of Statesville, NC, sister Jean and (Larry) Workman of Fieldale, VA, sister, Sybil and (Bill) Godbout of Cary, NC, brother, Sammy Hager, sister, Martha and (Barry) Farris of Columbia, TN, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Neffie and Thilbert Odra Hager and brother R.L. Hager. A memorial will be upon a future date. Memorial gifts may be made to The Christian Mission.
