Sarah Nan Miller

Sarah Miller CHARLOTTE - Sarah Nan Costner Miller, 88, went to meet her Heavenly Father and to be reunited with her beloved husband Ross Miller Jr. January 25, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. She was born August, 4th, 1926 in Rock Hill, SC Sarah was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Costner and Lula Lyles. Mrs. Miller was a hosiery inspector at Hudson Hosiery in Charlotte and then went on to care for her grandchildren. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ross Miller Jr. and by a brother, John Costner. Mrs. Miller is survived by her son, Richard Dale Miller of Charlotte, Granddaughter, Ashley Elizabeth Miller, Grandson, Joshua Richard Miller, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the outstanding care givers at Huntersville Oaks, who cared for Ross and Sarah, and became like a second family, in their final years. The family will have a celebration of Sarah's Life on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 3:00pm at Huntersville Oaks, at 12019 Verhoeff Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
