Brian Stuart Taylor

Brian Stewart (Bry) Taylor, age 52, of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Wiscasset , Maine, passed away of cancer on Monday, November 2, 2015 at a Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Brian was born on August 7, 1963 in Lewiston , Maine to Maynard T. Taylor and Marilyn (Hill) Taylor. Brian grew up in Maine and graduated from Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, Maine. After school, he moved to Louisiana and went on to live in several states including Mississippi, Virginia, Alabama and North Carolina, following the electrical field in those states. His last place of work was Beam Electric in Charlotte, North Carolina. Brian loved gardening, fishing and visiting with family in Maine. He was always friendly and willing to give a helping hand. He also had a good sense of humor. He is survived by his father, Maynard and step-mother, Joan Taylor, of Maine and Florida. His brother, Scott Taylor and wife Carolyn of New Hampshire; sister, Julie Taylor of Maine; step-sister, Lisa Sukeforth of Maine; step-brother, Scott Delano of Maine, and special friend, Laurel Doster. He is also survived by aunts uncles, nephews and nieces. Brian was predeceased by his mother Marilyn, Uncle Tim, Aunt Delia, Uncle Roland and Aunt Elaine. Internment will take place in Maine in the spring of 2016. Donations may be made in his honor to the Cancer Society of your choice. Arrangements were completed by Tribute Cremation Society of Charlotte, North Carolina.
