Irene Ellen Garrison
November 1st, 1922 - May 1st, 2019
Irene Garrison, 96, of Mooresville, NC passed away peacefully on May 1, 2019 at Gordon Hospice House after cancer captured her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Roy Garrison, a son Jerry Garrison, her parents, 2 sisters, and 1 granddaughter. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Garrison of Mooresville, NC, her son Terry (Faye) Garrison of Statesville, NC, her sister Georgia Walker of Modesto, CA, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Irene had a wonderful, long life and will be missed by many. She enjoyed dancing, bingo, weekly luncheons, and playing cards with her many friends from the Senior Citizens Center and War Memorial. In honoring her wishes, no funeral service will be held. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to one of the links listed below.
