Martinez, Elizabeth, 75 years old, made her transition back to God on May 21st, 2012. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Tony Martinez of 57 years, and six children, Hope Martinez, Susie Aragon, Richard Martinez, Ramona Ruybal, Theresa Martinez-Heffenger, Rachel Martinez-Troxel and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was born and raised in Greeley, CO. where she meet Tony at a local dance and began her adventure as a housewife, mother, and wife. Elizabeth had a deep love for the Catholic faith and passed on the importance of God to her children. She enjoyed listening to Spanish music in the background as she made her green chili for which she was famous among her family members. Please join her family and friends at Our Lady Mother of the Church in Commerce City, at 6690 East 72nd Avenue Commerce City, CO 80022 on Thursday at 6p.m. for the Rosary, and on Friday at 10a.m. for the funeral service.
