David J. Richards

David J. Richards, 53, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on January 6, 2015. David was born on January 20, 1961 and was a lifelong Charlotte resident. He worked mostly in retail as a manager and assistant manager. He was preceded in death by his fianc"e Carol Mullins Schmidt, the love of his life. He is survived by his father Warren Richards and step-mother Alice Richards, his sisters Judy Pearce and Janet Shuping along with their children, his step-brothers Jamie, Jeff, Jonathan, and Alan Wilson and their families, his fianc"e"s daughters Jennifer Lavoie and Jessica Mullins, in addition to many extended family members and dear friends. The memorial service will be held at Sedgefield United Methodist Church, 2830 Dorchester Pl. Charlotte, NC, 28209 on January 17, 2015 at 2pm with family visitation immediately following the service in the fellowship hall.
