Mrs. Laurice J. Lupo was called to Heaven on February 8, 2014 after a long and cruel illness. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17, 2014, at 2:00 pm, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Charlotte. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Lupo was born June 1, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama, and was the daughter of the late Jessee W. and Vivian Jackson. She graduated from Central High School in Charlotte. Mrs. Lupo is survived by her children, Deborah Yuan (Cary) of Denver, CO, Vivian Broderick of Mooresville, NC, Celeste Lupo-Hack of Charlotte, NC and Forrest Lupo (Reene) of Gulf Breeze, FL. Grandchildren, Courtenay Morgan, Katie Hawkins (Jeremy), Geoff Hoellen, Emily Mehl, Cliff Broderick (Angie), Sutton and Liza Hack. Great-grandchildren, Tyler and Cade Mehl. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Levine and Dickson Hospice House " Huntersville, 11900 Vanstory Dr,, Huntersville, NC 28078, and to Messiah Lutheran Church, 8300 Providence Rd., Charlotte, NC 28277. 2/17/2014 02:00 PM Memorial Messiah Lutheran Church Charlotte NC
