Barbara Jean Doty

Barbara Jean Doty, 75 years old, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband on July 27, 2023, in their home located in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. Barbara was born July 5, 1948, to Phillip and Berdina Canova in Rockford, IL. She graduated from West high school and retired from a successful career in Real Estate. Barbara was happily married to her loving and devoted husband Joseph Doty for 54 years. She is survived by her husband Joseph Doty. Her three children Guy Doty (Kassy), Jason Doty, and BreAnn Western(Dan Western). Her beautiful grandchildren, Skyler Doty (Brianna Doty) Garrett Doty, (Jess) Gavyn Doty, Ashlie Slomian (Ryan Slomian), Xander Doty, Peyton Western (Kaylee), Evyn Western, Keygan Western, Brandon Thurnau (Fay). Her Great grandchildren, Brynleigh Doty, Wyatt Doty, Naomi Doty, Kylan,Slomian, Ellie Slomian, Ryker Slomian, and Maylee Slomian, Sister, Phyllis Vettore, Cousin (sister) Rosie Aase, her nieces and nephews, and many other loved family members. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt, who showed everyone what unconditional love really looked like, along with displaying her great sense of humor. Barabara was an amazing woman and now celebrates her life of eternity in heaven, watching over all of us. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, Aug 5th, at 10am followed by a luncheon located at Redeemer Church, 5501 Windsor Rd. Loves Park, IL 61111.
