ELAINE KAY (HAWLEY) KREKLOW, lived in Jefferson, WI. She died peacefully with her family present on April 30, 2023. Elaine was born on July 5, 1951, in Monroe, WI to Kenneth and Mildred (Nelson) Hawley. She was baptized on July 29, 1951. Elaine attended Newark School, Inman School, Orfordville Junior High and graduated from Parkview High in Orfordville, WI. She married Ronald Kreklow on August 1, 1970. They were married at Luther Valley Church in rural Beloit, WI. They were married for 52 years. Elaine was a farmer’s wife. She also worked at Standish, Pine Cone and Sally Mae. She belonged to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson, WI where she taught Sunday School for many years. She had many hobbies including knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles to name a few. She loved babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family; husband Ronald Kreklow, sons Scott (Glori) Kreklow, David (Tina) Kreklow, Curtis (Chris) Kreklow and Andrew Kreklow; grandchildren Jessica (Joe) Riech of Fort Atkinson, Melissa (Josh) Riech of Waukesha, Seth (Nyoma) Kreklow of Jefferson, Halden (Madison) Kreklow of Whitewater, Randy (Joy) Ehrke of Wild Rose, WI, Amanda Ehrke, Jefferson, Whitney Kreklow, Jefferson, Lucas Kreklow Jefferson, Lillyona Kreklow of Jefferson and Lucy Kreklow of Beaver Dam, WI; great-grandchildren Abby, Ethan, Issac & Lincoln of Fort Atkinson, Anabelle Jones of Waukesha, Ada Jones of Waukesha, Noah Kreklow of Jefferson, Atlea Ehrke of Wild Rose, Evelyn Ehrke of Wild Rose, Jezebelle, Chandara, Novahlee & Riviera, all of Jefferson. She is further survived by her siblings, Pat (Lyle) Larson, Orfordville, Phyllis (Larry) Thompson, Beresford, SD, Roger (Bonnie) Hawley, Beloit, and Julie Monroe, Jefferson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Kenneth Hawley; several grandparents and great-grandparents. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson.
