Brian "Chief" Ernest Robertson
May 8th, 1950 - February 15th, 2012
BRIAN E. "CHIEF" ROBERTSON age 61 of Jefferson passed away at his home on Wednesday February 15, 2012. He was born on May 8, 1950 in Hayward, Wisconsin, son of Harold and Vivian (Guibord) Robertson. He married Mary Jean Hoffer on June 5, 1972 at Jefferson, Wisconsin. "Chief" was employed at Nestle Purina in Jefferson for over 25 years. He was a member of the Ojibwa Indian Tribe from Lac Courte Oreilles in Hayward Wisconsin, and a member of the Madison Association for the Deaf and the Wisconsin Camping Association for the Deaf. He was an avid fisherman, and hunter, he enjoy old cars, motorcycles, woodworking and camping with his family. He was a great storyteller and jokester, and known for his "interesting karaoke skills ". He will be deeply missed by his wife Mary Jean Robertson of Jefferson. His father Harold Robertson of Stone Lake WI. Daughters; Trisha (James) Bratten of Jefferson, Jenilee (Shane) Splittgerber of Jefferson, son; Jeremiah (Sarah) Robertson of Wisconsin Dells. Grandchildren; Cory, Cali and Matthew Bratten, Briana, Devon Robertson, Jadyn, Payton, Tyler Splittgerber. Brothers; Willard "Skip" (Lillian) Robertson of Hayward, Howard (Lisa) Robertson of Kewaunee, Steve (Ruby) Robertson of Hayward. Sister; Marcella Langenecker of Eau Clair, and his faithful dog; Maggie. He is preceded in death by his mother; Vivian Robertson, Grandparents; Marcella and Ernest Guibord, father-in-law; Ronald Hoffer, cousin Ernest "Rusty" Spencer. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday February 18, 2012 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
