DONALD J. HOTTER age 80 of Eagle River formerly of Cambridge passed away at his home on Sunday September 30, 2012. He was born on April 4, 1932 son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Gerhke) Hotter Sr. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Davis on September 27, 1952 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson. Donald served in the United State Army during the Korean War, and the Army National Guard. He had worked at Borg Textiles in Jefferson; he was also employed at the Jefferson County Highway Department. Following his retirement he and his wife moved to Eagle River. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sayner, and a former member of St. Pius X Parish in Cambridge, WI . He will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years Betty Hotter of Eagle River. Daughters; Sherry (Jeff Bergstrom) Hotter of St. Croix Virgin Island Patricia Hotter of Gardners, PA Sons; Donald (Judy) Hotter III of Colstrip MT, Michael (Julie) Hotter of Pulaski Grandchildren; Casey Bergstorm, Jessie Hotter, Ricky Hotter, Jessica Hotter, Alyssa Hotter. Great Grandchildren; JC and Roselle Rain Hotter Brothers; Jon (Pat) Hotter of Jefferson, Thomas (Suzzane) Hotter of Rockdale Many nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon, on October 13, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial with Military Honors will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church on Saturday October 13, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
