William "Bill" Gerald Chwala
April 26th, 1942 - June 16th, 2013
WILLIAM "BILL" G. CHWALA 71 of Jefferson passed away Sunday June 16, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1942 in Watertown, son of the late Gerald and Leona (Pautsch) Chwala. He married Bonnie Stark on September 4, 1965 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson. Bill worked in masonry construction for over 25 years but his heart was totally in the farm; the animals, raising crops and his special John Deere 4020 D tractor, after his family this is what he lived for. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Green Bay Packers and being with his family and friends. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Jefferson Sportsman club. He will be deeply missed by his wife Bonnie of Jefferson, Daughter Heidi Chwala of Jefferson, and Son William Chwala of Jefferson. Sister; Mary Ann (Donald) Hepp of Johnson Creek, and Brothers; Thomas (Karen) Chwala of Lake Mills, Gerald (Emily) Chwala of Jefferson. Sister-in-law; Barb Chwala of Jefferson and Honorary Son "Squirrel" of Jefferson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is also preceded in death by his brother Robert Chwala. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday June 25, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle. Burial to be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday June 24 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral home in Jefferson and then again at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Those planning on expressing sympathy through memorials may direct them to Rainbow Hospice. 147 Rockwell Street, Jefferson, WI 53549 and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson.
