Jordan Arnold Vogel

JORDAN A. VOGEL age 23 of Jefferson passed away on Saturday August 24, 2013 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on May 16, 1990 in Fort Atkinson, son of Allan and Margaret (Seres) Vogel. Jordan graduated from Jefferson High School in 2008, and was employed at Two Guys Trimming in Jefferson where he loved the Ganser family that he was working for and with. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, the Jefferson Fire Department, and the Jefferson Sportmens Club. Jordan took great pride in being a fireman and keeping the fire department clean and organized. Jordan enjoyed life and making people laugh and smile; he loved to spend time with family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed trapping, snowmobiling, racing and hunting. He will be deeply missed by his family; Parents Allan and Margaret Vogel of Jefferson Great grandmother; Annie Schmidt of Jefferson, grandmothers; Kathryn Vogel of Jefferson and Barbara Seres of Fort Atkinson, sister; Lauren (Michael) Bretl of Rome, brother; Justin (Becca) Vogel of Jefferson, god-daughter; Aubrey Ritter of Jefferson, god-father Charlie Schmidt, god-mother Barb Gang, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by great grandfather; Lester Schmidt; grandfathers; Arnold Vogel and Joseph Seres; uncle; Dale Vogel; cousins; Natalie Gang and Erica Plue. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 31, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday August 30, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and then again on Saturday morning at the Church from 9:00a.m until the time of Mass.
