Clarence, Clyde, CDR, Dad, and Grandpa. These names and nicknames are representative of someone who was and always will be a wonderful man, Clarence David Rose. A first generation Portuguese American who laid down strong roots and met his wonderful wife in Hillsboro, OR. A Korean War Marine who had the scars to prove it. A dad, grandpa, and friend who was always there to help. An adventurer who just loved to see the views no matter what they were, & a jokester who just wanted to spread smiles. Clarence David Rose was a rock & for many, a comfort person. He is survived by two sons Brian and Vance, foster daughter Frankie, and his grandchildren Garrett, Brooke, Keaton, and Kaila. He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife Bonnie and loving daughter Noreen, both of whom he missed dearly. After a few months of health decline, he died peacefully on his beloved property with family by his side. He will always have an everlasting legacy and will live on in our hearts as a reminder not to take life so seriously- crack that joke! A graveside memorial service was held on November 1, 2022 and at 2:00pm at Valley Memorial Park, Hillsboro, Oregon. As he always used to say… It’s a diabolical piece of palpitating perpetuity!.... Whatever that means :)
